About this deal
It isn’t really a true alternative to an alcohol or gas stove, but it works – you can cook food on/with it. We recently took our Lixada Titanium Folding Wood Stove on a backpacking trip and were very pleased with its performance. There are many versions of this stove some without the port but the performance is the same just the need to remove your pot feed the stove can become tiresome. You can reverse the fire nest to enable you to either use the bowl provided (I use this to hold my fatwood scrapings in) for burning meth’s or whack a burner in there. If you don’t want to actually burn wood in the stove, it doubles as a reasonable pot holder for a trangia-style alcohol stove (see pictures). This stove is built with titanium construction that is corrosion-resistant, extremely durable and super light. I now carry mine in a zip log bag (so that if it’s dirty it doesn’t mess up or stink up my other kit). My cooker fits together great when folded in one particular way, and much less well when folded another way.
Note: Wood Stove ONLY, other items displayed in pictures are for illustration purpose ONLY, they are NOT included in the listing! With no need for fuel canisters or batteries, we could cook our meals using twigs, branches, or leaves we found along the way, reducing our carbon footprint.First impressions were good, it came in a thick mesh carry bag which looks man enough to take some abuse.
